Grandchildren of William and Elizabeth (Henry) Heffron
The descendants of William and Elizabeth Heffron are more numerous than any other branch of the family. William and Elizabeth had 23 grandchildren (16 living, 7 deceased) by 8 of their 14 children. These in turn produced 83 members of the 5th generation, at least 101 of the 6th generation and 13 of the 7th generation. Many of these descendants live in St. Croix Co., Wisc., most of them near Hudson. Also, there are several in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, Washington State, and North Dakota. Smaller numbers live in Illinois, Colorado, and other places.

113. LYLE WILLIAM HEFFRON, born Oct. 29, 1906, Big Bend, Wisc, married Grace Nelson on Aug. 28, 1930 (6/22/1905–2/22/1979), and died May 1, 1978, in Seattle, buried Sunnyside, Wash. He was a farmer in Sunnyside. In 1933 he began work for the Federal Land Bank on their appraisal staff, retiring in 1973.

Charles Corfield on Dec. 31, 1931. (He died Jan. 3, 1984, Sumner,
Wash.) She graduated from the Univ. of Washington in 1929 and began
teaching school in Kapowsin, Wash. that fall. Charlie worked for Puget
Sound Power and Light and they lived in Electon, Dieringer, Sumner, and
Snoqualmie Falls. She now lives at Lake Tapps, near Sumner, Wash.

115. CARROLL EUGENE HEFFRON, born March 9, 1910, Sunnyside, died Nov 22,
1977, Seattle, buried Walla Walla, Wash. He married Catherine Moony on
Nov. 26, 1936, in Yakima. (She died Aug 11, 1969). Carroll received a
Medical Degree from the Univ. of Oregon and entered the U. S. Army Air
Corp as a medical officer. He was discharged in 1946 and began his
medical practice in Yakima, Wash. He moved to Walla Walla, Wash. in
1958 where he was resident physician at the Wash. State Penitentiary
until he retired in 1972.

taught school for 2 years. Pat served his medical internship
in the U. S. Air Force at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in
Ohio, then served 4 years as a flight surgeon at an RAF base
in Lakenheath, England and then spent 4 years at Andrews Air
Force Base in Washington D. C. Since 1979 he has been in
private practice in Kirkland, Wash., specializing in
obstetrics and gynecology.

116. JOHN WESLEY (Jack) HEFFRON, born Aug. 5, 1917, Lower Naches, Wash.,
mar. (1) Mavis Maloch of _______, Ark.in 1944. She died in 1964 in
Sunnyside. He married (2) Bonny Prickett in 1966. Jack graduated from
Washington State College in Jan. 1943 and entered the U. S. Army Air
Corp. He was a navigator bombardier on a B-25 and was assigned to the
82 squadron, 12th bomb group, 10th Air Force in the China-Burma-India
Theater where he completed 62 combat missions. After the war he
returned to Sunnyside where he was a fruit grower until 1972, then began
work as an appraiser for the Yakima County assessor. He died April 1,
1982

117. WILLIAM E. (BILL) BELL, born March 8, 1919, married Jeanne Voigt on
June 22, 1940. He died Aug 12, 1989, in Broomfield, Colorado, where he
and Jeanne lived. He was employed as an agent for Prudential Insurance
and in 1944 enlisted in the U. S. Navy. After his discharge he was
employed by the Royal Typewriter Co. and in 1956 was transferred to
Denver, Colo. After several years as a heavy equipment salesman, he and
two of his sons, Doug and Greg, formed Bell Paving Co. Upon their
deaths in 1985, sons Rick and Bob joined the firm where Bill was
employed until the time of his death.

in 1949. He is now retired and he and Joyce live in Lake Placid, Fla.,

127. NEIL FALCK, born June 1, 1930, Jamestown, N. D., married Patricia Anne
Wanzek on July 1, 1954, Windsor, N. D. Neil served with the 40th Div.,
160th Infantry, Heavy Mortar Co., during the Korean War. After his dis-
charge, he and Pat began farming in Buchanan, N. D. In 1979 they rented
their farm land and moved to Fargo where they now live.

in Hudson and Eau Claire until 1934 when her family moved to Chicago.
She married Dean Quoss (died Oct. 8, 1984). They lived in Chicago until
1959, in Joliet, Ill. where he worked at Argonne Narional Laboratory for
38 years until his death. Margaret was a homemaker until 1976, then
as a bookkeeper for nine years.
